Environment – we care
We care about the environment and want to make sure we do our bit to help to protect the planet.
Here is what we do:
• We use only paper straws for our drinks
• We buy and serve water and soft drinks in recyclable glass bottles and for take aways use mainly canned drinks
• We sort and recycle
• Take Aways – where possible we use environmentally friendly/recyclable/renewable materials such as cardboard boxes (for Fish & Chips and pizzas), containers made of renewable raw materials such a sugar cane (for burgers etc) and aluminium containers with paper lids.
It is worth mentioning that there is an additional benefit of the containers made from sugar cane as they can be microwaved for up to 5 minutes or heated up to 100 degrees Celsius.
